I guess I’m salty that neither Lucid or Rivian stock has me playing basketball on a yacht in Monaco lmfao.

Stock market in trendy tech is all about hype and what ifs. Elon hacked it long time ago and made a mess out of it. Lucid has hands down the best crucial BEV component designs on planet Earth, Chinese have yet to copy it. If that is not worth whole lot on stock market I don't know what is. I was convinced faux Autopilot feature was not supposed to be the one to induce pump and dump stock pricing but in this distorted reality it did. That's because people know really little about software and hardware symbiosis and just a tad bit splash of guerilla marketing will convince them its Start Trek technology served straight into their hands.

What's with the power dome? EVs don't need a great height or large volume under the hood.

Design.

Mercedes is done with the unsuccessful design language set by the EQE/EQS lines, and is now moving back to an ICE-esque upright nose design for the new EVs.

It was originally supposed to have an EQE/EQS style droopy nose as seen in the early prototypes but Mercedes changed it mid-development, thankfully.

“Electric performance vehicles are struggling to capture the attention of enthusiasts”

Not sure if Lexus still considering the EV supercar idea, but I really hope not. It’s obvious that no one’s going to buy it, and it would just end up being unprofitable for the brand. If the LFR eventually evolves into the GR GT, then fine, let it be. Just don’t slap the LFR name on some random EV supercar S**t.

The bar is set impossibly high by the U9X. 3000hp and 496km/h top speed while also lapping Nurburgring in less than 7 minutes. Anyone trying to build an EV supercar will be humiliating themselves. Someday in 2030s Lexus (if the brand still exists by then) will build a 1000hp EV with maybe 330km/h and give themselves a pat on the back.
