The escalade is ridiculous. Nearly double the battery for the same or less range, 3,000+ pounds more of mass and momentum to kill yourself and others with, and it's slower, worse packaging, etc.

It's the embodiment of quality vs quantity. Knowing what you're doing vs being a loud, unrefined showboat.

Lucid is actually one of the few new companies I have any excitement about. They're 2 models in and pulling this stuff off. In a decade they're going to have some truly compelling offerings. Gravity styling isn't perfect but they're onto something.

4 tones passenger cars should be straight out illegal. Heck even 3 tons should be too. And anything above 2 tons should be hit hard with road maintenance tax.

i would be surprised if lucid doesnt eventually position as a component supplier that gets acquired.
