Any one follow Chris Forsberg on Instagram? He's posting stories about his new white Z and already modifying it with new parts. Looks like he's got coilovers and wheels already, along with "prototype" parts he says they are testing. Im getting excited lol.

White was my second choice, gives a very clean look. But for me there were two drawbacks to it that pushed Gun Metallic to the front: any dirt on white paint is very obvious - there's no getting away with a slightly dirty car; it accentuates that big front grill, which IMO is the weakest...

The Z deserved so much better. That launch ad was so meh.
It is a marketing gimmick, to make a colour seem special and sophisticated. For example, White seems so blah, but Polar White or Ultra White sound so much better. Similarly, basic Black is bland but Caviar seems intriguing and sophisticated. And would you want an orange Lexus UX or a Cadmium (Orange) UX?

Caviar just signify a multi stage black tho. It has flakes. Obsedian which they still sell is normal black.

I understand what you are saying, but it's a lot more than just a marketing gimmick. There is a reason why Pearl/Oyster-Whites and the special Metalflake Blacks often cost more than your standard, Blah, Appliance-White or Coal-Black. They use a more complex and expensive painting/finish method and take more resources on the assembly-line or in the paint-shop. And, although they are not necessarily the most expensive colors to do, metallic silvers and light metallic blues/greens are usually the most difficult colors to perfectly match for accident repair or paint-damage.

Nissan Z weight stats in GT7 = 3402 lbs
With the release of GT7, also comes some interesting tid bits of the Z it seems. Listed at 3402 lbs with 399 hp and 2997 cc How close do we think the weight will be to the real thing? We know for a fact it's 400 hp and the cc is just under what's been released so how much higher can we expect...

I'm pretty sure the Z is two hundred lbs heavier than the GR Supra. Should be at ~3600 lbs.
