Starting with the 2020 model year, Lexus USA will extend its Hybrid Battery Warranty to 10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first. This is an upgrade from the current warranty of 8 years / 100,000 miles.
This is the longest hybrid battery warranty offered by any luxury manufacturer, covers both first ownership and all subsequent owners.
As for the rest of the Lexus hybrid system, the warranty remains 8 years or 100,000 miles for the Hybrid Battery Control Module, Hybrid Control Module, and Inverter with Converter.
Lexus Canada will offer a similar warranty starting with the 2020 model year: 10 years or 240,000km, whichever comes first.
