Lexus will reveal the production version of the LC Convertible at the UK’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, according to a report from CNET:
According to multiple Lexus sources, tuning on the production version is not yet final, but the stunning GT convertible will be ready for dealerships soon.
Those same sources would not confirm whether the car will be fitted with a power folding soft top or a folding hard top. However, it would be surprising if the lid were anything other than a fabric roof, if only because the concept’s tight rear packaging probably necessitates it.
The LC convertible concept revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in January looked production-ready, and from my sources, was designed with a soft-top roof in mind. Unless this plan has changed, expect little change from the production model.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed opens on July 4th at the Goodwood House, West Sussex, England.
