Lexus RC F, GS F, and LC 500 Recalled for Fuel Pump Issue

Lexus has announced a recall for the high-performance RC F coupe, GS F sedan, and LC 500 coupe due to an issue with the fuel pumps:

The involved vehicles are equipped with two high pressure fuel pumps. There is a possibility that the cover of one of these pumps could become damaged over time and lead to a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

For all involved vehicles, Lexus dealers will replace both high-pressure fuel pumps with improved ones at no cost to customers. All known owners will receive a notification by first class mail starting in early April.

Approximately 9,900 RC F, GS F, and LC 500 models spanning model years 2015-2018 are affected by the recall.

Finally a TSB has been released for this know issues with the "F" models...Versus "Flashing" the ECM to resolve short-term fix...Only when potential of "Liabilities" we've a remedy...:imp:
Called my Lexus dealership today and they said the remedy is not available yet. I guess, it is OK since my RCF is hibernating in my parking garage so hopefully, when I take it in for the next 10,000 miles service in May, they will have the remedy available so that I can get both done at the same time.
