The 2016 Lexus IS 200t will return up to 33 MPG on the highway, making it the most fuel-efficient non-hybrid Lexus sedan in the lineup.
Full estimates are 22 city, 33 highway and 26 combined, for an average of 2 MPG better that the outgoing IS 250. These are impressive figures considering that the IS 200t has 37 more horsepower and 73 more lb-ft of torque.
Fuel economy estimates were also released for the 2016 IS 300 AWD, which returns a combined 23 MPG. These numbers are down compared to the IS 250 AWD, but the new 3.5L V6 produces 51 more horsepower and 51 more lb-ft of torque.
In addition to the new IS 200t and IS 300 AWD, the IS 350 remains the IS flagship model with a range-topping 306 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque.
