Lexus GS 450h F Sport Information

Lexus UK has released some super-high resolution images of the GS 450h F Sport package being offered in Europe — these are MUST SEE photos:

Unlike in North America, Europe will not be offering the GS 350, so it’s the hybrid GS 450h that gets the F Sport treatment — here’s the full press release for anyone looking for more information, but at first glance the European & North American packages seem identical other than the engines used.

I think this beauty will do a lot to change the perception many people have of hybrids as being rather dull cars only driven by people obsessed with being fashionably "green" and politically correct.

This is very nice! Even more options would be nice! Let the Brits have a pair of exhaust tips to look at! P.S.: @lexusenthusiast:disqus: This is so confusing! I know that the UK is mostly hybrid-only, but other countries in Europe such as Germany have the IS 250 and the LS 460. (It's crazy how you can no longer afford the LS in the UK unless you put your money down for a 600h!)

    In Norway only hybrid versions of the GS,LS and RX are available.This is due to the fact that new car taxes favour cars with low emissions,and so the hybrid versions cost less than the "regular" ones.

    Man the LS is so cheap in USA.. In Australia the base LS costs from $205,000

First, isn't the steering wheel on the right side of the car in Britain?  Or am I confused?  Can we Americans get the hybrid version or is this a UK thing?

    The steering wheel is on the right side in Britain, I was there last week and they keep up their eccentric traditions :-)

Really interesting... Local magazines say that we'll only get the hybrid version of the new GS here, in Spain. Spain hasn't got a tax policy pro-hybrids, so I suppose that Lexus has decided to simplify things and sell only the hybrid in all western europe, independently of the local tax policy. A question. I am sure that you guys have talked about this, but there isn't a pedal for the emergency/parking brake, is it? Where is the emergecy brake? some king of electrical button?
