Lexus IS F to Race in Superstars Series This Weekend

When the second round of the Superstars Series Touring Car Championship kicks off this weekend with a race at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, Spain, Lexus fans will have a new team to cheer for — Diego Romanini & MN Motorsport have entered the race with a IS F, where it will be the only Japanese car on the field.

Update: The qualifying rounds for the race have finished, and the MN Motorsport IS F has not made an appearance — which isn’t all that surprising after reading this background story from jruhi4 of My.IS.

Indeed, qualifying numbers are now up, and no Lexus IS F. Also notable is that MN Motorsports' Mauro Nocentini's second team, MRT by Nocentini and its Chrysler 300C SRT-8 isn't entered, either. Also, Kevin, an important note: the picture atop this story isn't of the MN Motorsports IS F, but that of the Maurer Motorsport IS F that is even further behind in development than the MN team's car. Mmm ... i will be having a read of this story / article later today when i have more time. In the mean time .. lets hope Denny Hamlin or Kyle Busch have a win at Darlington (NASCAR) today. GO TOYOTA ...
