Lexus LS L-Select Custom Color Combinations

L-Select, the Lexus LS customization program available in Japan, has a brand new website with some (very small) photos of potential color combinations:

Dark Brown

Both the Blue Gray & Dark Brown may very well be Alcantara, which is a very nice touch and one that I like a lot. Really though, these palettes are simply suggestions — there’s actually 30,000 possible combinations, including some wild wood trim:

Why doesn't Lexus bring L-select to the US? It would be nice if Lexus had something similar to Mercedes-Benz Designo and BMW's Individual program. Oh well, maybe one of these days.

the olive makes me want to barf... Im glad lexus is branching out on interior colors, but honestly, they arent very successful. They dont do it as tasteful as the european brands. the ISC is a horrible mess in the optional blue interior.

Why do all colors come only with black dashboards? Colors like Scarlet & Umber look like aftermarket jobs. Lexus should take a look at the bespoke programs offered by Aston, Ferrari, Bentley & Maserati. The choices available there are simply mind-blowing.

I think idea should be transferred to other markets, but naturally the colours, materials and textures would have to be researched to suit the tastes of the respective markets.

Make mine Topaz with ANY wood other than what's in the current LS.
