Photo Gallery: Lexus GS F SPORT Crafted Line Edition

While in Las Vegas for SEMA, I stopped by Lexus of Henderson for a quick visit.

On display in front of the dealership was a Crafted Line GS 350 F SPORT — this was my first time seeing the special edition in person:

The interior has red contrast stitching and Shimamoku wood trim:

There’s some mixed feeling with the Crafted Line — I like the blacked-out treatment on the wheels and grille, but the door handles and side mirrors are just a little too much contrast for my liking.

The interior, on the other hand, is stellar — I would rock that black with red color scheme all day every day.

As a bonus, here are some photos from the Crafted Line debut in Pebble Beach, sent to me from Ben Hsu from Japanese Nostalgic Car:

The black door handles/mirrors is a bit overkilled. I think the F sport graphite wheels looks better than the black ones. The front grille needs to be more aggressive, which the facelift will addressed. The two-toned seats looks like seat covers? At least in pictures.

Not liking the black mirrors, handles, and wheels as there is too much "day/night" contrast. Unless you are within a couple of feet of the cars to appreciate the detail, anything further makes the contrast look cheap, in particular the "unpainted look" of the mirrors and handles and the "winter steelie" black wheels. I do like the blacked out grille and the interior. Overall, this series would look better on Silver Lining or Nebula Gray to give just a little contrast but still be in tone.
