Lexus Hybrids Commercial: Milestones
Lexus heralds its expanded hybrid lineup with this commercial featuring a synchronized display of the Lexus hybrid models:
The 5.5 billion mile figure quoted in the video is based on an average of 10,000 miles per year, which is less than the typical figure used in the U.S. It’s also worth noting that the luxury auto industry has increasingly embraced hybrid technology, with the market about to gain many first-generation hybrid models from a number of makes—similar to how the Lexus RX spawned the luxury crossover category. Lexus also looks to expand its lead in the alternative energy arena by bringing the hybrid powertrain to new segments, including the forthcoming CT 200h.
(In addition to this video, which is currently running on the YouTube front page, the site’s official Lexus channel gained several hybrid videos recently.)

*gasp* I hope they were keep tabs through dealer visits and not *gasp* black boxes, but they already had blackboxes for the Camry cars that crashed… sigh…
Anyways, that was quite an epic video.
Love it! Nothing wrong with bragging a bit if you can back it up - and they can!

Lexus isn’t giving it away. You’re just gonna have to accept that the music was designed especially for this commercial by… _____. aha Lexus says who; check all the comments of the video above on YouTube by LexusVehicles.
is it really dirvers driving the cars?
@matt: I think there are real drivers in some shots, but the overall synchronized display is made of computer compositing multiple cars together. The spot was made for Team One by Anonymous Content:
