Wireless charging pad - iPhone too big?

I can’t get my iPhone 12 ProMax to charge on the wireless charging pad in my 2022 Rx350. It starts to charge, but stops soon after. I assume the phone is too big and not centered correctly on the charger? I already took off the case to see if that was it — and no difference. Has this happened to others?

I have a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and I have to move it to a certain spot but it charges. Bigger phones seem to be more finicky in their placement on chargers, the one at home is like that too. Unfortunately you'll have to use a charging cable then.

Aftermarket wireless charger if you absolutely need a wireless charger. if not, wired is king
