Awesome find theLexfather! Thank you!

Wow this is highly unusual and very surprising.

A few quick observations:

- look at all the head-turning and stares the LFA still gets. Absolutely beautiful. Even in the HEART of exotic country in Italy, near Lambo headquarters, the LFA commands lots of attention. Amazing!
- the fact that VAG/Lambo are testing a 5 year old Lexus shows a huge amount of respect for the LFA by the competition. Actions speak louder than words. Whatever the media have said over the years about the LFA matters little compared to actions like this. When a direct, legendary exotic/supercar company is testing an LFA, it is absolute confirmation of how seriously the competition views the LFA, and how much respect they hold for it as a direct competitor.

I remember hearing/reading some tidbit that the V-10 in the LFA was developed with the Lambo V-10 technology. Or something along those lines. My memory is a little fuzzy.

That would be incorrect. The LFA V10 was developed with a combination of knowledge, experience, and technology from both Yamaha and Toyota powertrain specialists. Much of that was motorsports knowledge and experience. For example, part of the production process for the LFA V10 involved using Toyota's secret F1 engine facilities in Japan. One could even say that the LFA V10 is essentially a street-legal race engine, a very reliable one built to Lexus standards.

Great find. I agree this is certainly a tribute to the well deserved respect given to the LFA.
