The big surprise is using a H2 ICE instead of FC. But I guess that makes sense since FC stacks could not operate near peak output over 24 hours (just like batteries). If the hydrogen G16E could run at 300PS the H8909 should have not problem dealing with 680PS. They just need to burn almost twice as much hydrogen or run shorter stints.

Surely this much narrower cabin is going to help reduce drag when compared to the GR010, Toyota really need to go as balls out as the rules allow to make their WEC Hypercars even harder than ever to be held back by unfavorable BoP.
