Toyota Announces Electric SUV for Europe in 2021

Toyota also announced an EV crossover for the European market, and this was their teaser:



The shape kinda looks like the vehicle in the video

Edit: just watched the video again and realized that its more boxier and less coupe-like than the above CUV. However, the Toyota EV may have a significant relationship with the Lexus vehicle.

they look really good. i am happy Toyota will have futuristic yet good looking BEVs that do not look like BEVed ICEVs.

Autoexpress gathered some more information:

BZ stands for Beyond Zero, and according to "Toyota Europe’s executive vice-president Matt Harrison said the new EV would be positioned slightly above the RAV4 on pricing, but said that customers would be able to cross-shop between the two models. “The size is similar to RAV4,” he said, “so between RAV4, which is already available as a hybrid and plug-in hybrid, and this product as zero-emissions option, we’ve pretty much got this covered. Customers would choose between these two vehicles in our portfolio.
We’ll have to see when we get closer to the start of production what the incentive situation is, because this can have an impact on where the model transacts. But we’re trying to make sure that with any of the EVs, we don’t count on incentives to secure the business equation."

Autoexpress also painted the concept red and goes for BZ3X for it:

So the red one will be the first from the left which is a RAV4 sized

Then the second is Highlander sized

The third is Lexus RZ brother

The forth is Subaru brother

Then the last 2!
