On an unrelated note.. this segment is doing really well still. Brand new 5er with a full lineup of electric and PHEV, new E-Class and EQE, and upcoming A6 E-Tron and A7. Not to mention Genesis' G80 and G80 Electrified... So so so wish Lexus was still competing in this field with a new GS, they definitely could've had a chance with the right style and technology.

I dont think Lexus has given up on it. They have probably been trying to figure out what the sedan segment really is, from first principles.

We have seen leaks and teasers for a sedan heavy EV lineup.

It looks... chonky... but I don't hate it. It's just a larger 3-Series.

The engines in EU will be only 20i/20d and PHEVs. No I6 both petrol and diesel at least no information about them, I guess M5 will be the same as XM PHEV.

F30 is one of my favorite sedans. The CS is my favorite. They somehow designed a rwd Kia Forte. it is disgusting. I am beyond sad.

Pls TMC, take the new Crown Sedan and Lexus GS it, I wouldn't even be mad if they only just swap out the Crown badges for Lexus badges, and definitely stick in the higher output TT V6 and the TT V6 hybrid.

It looks like a Kia Optima/Forte design that didn't make the final cut and was pulled back out of the "drafts" folder.

G30 is a nice design, IMO. I've always liked it, especially in some of the sportier trims.

This is a wreck.
