Youtube channel Autoya has attempted to design the upcoming Lexus TX crossover, and it’s a decent attempt at bridging the gap between the RX & LX.

There’s far too much LX in the design, but there’s nothing wrong with that — for any flaws it may have, the LX is a handsome vehicle and the TX would be smart to borrow its appearance.

Looks promising - the spindle grille looking less prominent. Thought that quite interesting.
Any ideas on the next LS - would think a new LS must be quite close now about 5 or more years old. Hope they can reestablish this model this latest version somehow not been hugely successful.

No one knows about LS. With what has happened LS will probably not be updated until it becomes a BEV or FCEV (less likely), and that is not before 2027.

Disappointing to read this reply - 2027 is a long way off.
With poor sales Lexus may drop the model altogether in that case.
This car originally shook up the Germans - no longer causing them any concern.

I know. I think LS won't be BEV without solid state batteries. Hopefully solid state batteries are not vaporware as hydrogen fuel cells.

Very nice rendering! I could only hope the real thing looks as good as this. With Akio gone, maybe thats possible.

I'm sure the car will look great, but I don't see what Akio's departure has to do with the design of this car.

If the TX is being introduced later this year and if @mikeavelli has already sat in one, the styling design and engineering of the car -- with perhaps some small, final details, like paint colours -- is set in stone already, just awaiting the public unveiling. It may be delayed but it is not likely to be cancelled at this point (cancelling at this late stage would means $millions of money wasted and down the drain).

You mean like the prototype LC F we all saw in Germany and the V8 TT that was going to run the Nurburing 24h?

I don’t believe the TX is going to suffer the same fate, just wanted to show that’s possible to cancel new cars on the last minute.
