I wonder what their selection process was to pick Dubai after Tokyo.

Huge Lexus fan base. DIFC is a free zone means Lexus corp. can own and run the restaurant (in contrast to most of Dubai). Plus DIFC has some of the best restaurants in the world; Zuma Dubai for example.

It's easily one of the best locations for them.
