Lexus CT Navigation map question

I moved this (model 2012 CT200h) car to Finland. I was told by a local dealer that navigation maps for Europe cannot be installed to a car that was sold in the USA. Can anybody confirm this? Does anybody know a Lexus factory customer service contact?

Map update dealer confirmed it - the whole unit would need to be converted or replaced. Having smart phones for navigation, not practical to do it.
