Lexus LC named to 2017 WardsAuto's “10 Best Interiors” List

in combination with the large demand / orders, this bodes well for Lexus. Of course the LC is stunning in all ways and quite distinct.

This car impresses in every way. My favorite Lexus interior especially in the blue/orange/white/black combo!

I would be surprised to learn that LC as the business case has not been positioned as the brightest beacon within Lexus right now. The beacon to tell them how they should approach every new model from now on every time they look at it.

Btw Levante and Giulia have the exact same interior and both are nothing special in terms of tech, layout and quality.

Thats what happens when you build a concept car as close to concept as possible.

I hope Lexus takes this as a strong signal for bolder design.

I would love to see what the designers can do if they were to incorporate large areas of wood into that interior - much more than the LF-LC Concept Car.

Leather is something that really fascinates me in car interior. But the TAKUMI leather work in the cabin just blows me away.

Worth highlighting are a couple of the judges' comments:

“So Lexus designers finally ripped off their clothes and went crazy in the studio,” says judge Drew Winter, calling the LC 500’s interior if not the best of the year, certainly the most interesting and different. “The whole car looks like a concept that just got pulled off an auto show turntable!”

"Our $103,000 test vehicle could have won on its doors alone, thanks to their swooping metal trim and unique carved creases, all covered with Alcantara faux suede" (article author Christie Schweinsberg).

“Right on par with Bentley,” says Judge Dave Zoia, with Judge Winter deeming the LC 500 just as nice as a $200,000-$300,000 Bentley but costing “a mere $100,000.”
