Trust me. We all are. It may not do anything but we need to "rebel" as much as we can. DM Lexus on Instagram. Comment your feelings on their photos, Akio Toyoda's photos, etc. Threaten to leave Lexus (I have multiple times as a 28 year old fan and 5th time Lexus owner) by telling them again on Instagram, etc. or tell your dealers.
It's not going to do anything. Lexus keeps getting away with what they do because the status quo is exactly what their customer base wants. The average Lexus buyer wants a NX/RX/TX/ES and nothing else. They don't want anything exciting, just a car that takes them from point A to point B. Lexus doesn't need to cater to their "enthusiast" customer base anymore because there are maybe a few thousand left on the planet. Most already switched to a different brand like I did.

The biggest mistake Lexus ever made was not following through with the F line. The original view of lexus was it's a brand for retirees and old people.

The first car that was built to address that situation was also the first car to take a hit the GS.

I remember the 4GS was the first time a lexus out handle anything in its class until escalade answered with the magnetic suspension. And what did they do after that discontinue the GS instead of building on that momentum.
Samething with the LC with all the praise it had the only complaint that car ever had was it wasn't fast enough. Easily the LCF will have dealt with that issue instead they killed the project and gave us a convertible.

If the F models all had a 2nd generation by now Lexus image as a Luxury/performance brand will be taken more seriously instead we got what we got.

At this point it looks like Koji SATO don't want any part of this because I haven't seen him in almost a year now saying anything about his plan for Lexus or Toyota. Meanwhile we won't stop seeing Akio.

If TMC didn't want to build exciting cars then why did they create the GR GT and GR GT3 (I noticed that the GR GT/GT3 does not wear the Toyota or Lexus badge but will be sold at Lexus dealerships?)? The LFA is definitely one of the greatest car TMC has ever created.

Lexus still has the LC 500. The IS F, GS F and RC F were great starts to compete with the M counterparts, however, Lexus didn't follow through with next generations of those F models.

It is vaporware IMO… like many of the previous concepts Lexus showed in the last 10 years. If anything, the only 2 door Lexus we might get is the Lexus version of the next gen Supra, that is if there is a next gen Supra, and even that is not guaranteed.

AFAIK that's still happening.
