Someone is not going to be invited back with a headline like that. Doesn't he realize how auto "influencers" are supposed to write/talk?? LOL

Vin conglomerate sounds like from some dystopian film.

He is a journalist, doing his job most of his kind are not doing anymore. Hope he doesn't disappear "mysteriously".

To be fair, David C/Automotive Press also attended the event.

This is one of the better Jalopnik articles in awhile.

The best response
Vingroup has businesses all over Vietnam. You might buy groceries at VinMart and clothing at VinPlaza.

Please tell me their gas stations are called VinDiesel.

it was a nice story, but he really exaggerates non car stuff by a lot.
Seems like they have problem with power delivery and suspension is quite mushy. With these companies, it is usually someone else doing their development really, which they dont really hide too well. IE just like Pininfarina doing the design.

I like the idea of leasing the batteries for EVs. Shame about the rest of the car, apparently.

Vinfast is really aggressive here on the marketing at least in California...they've been holding a lot of ride and drives in the state, and have opened showrooms in shopping malls like some other EV car company.
