#444 is with me… Iove it. When my camera comes in I’ll take pics at night. I didn’t realize how well the color pops then. This is a Lexus marketing unit but I’ve already said I know a guy that wants it lol

Yeah, it would. But they could formulate some sort of excuse that it isn't viable for them to become an all-EV brand because of supply, or demand reasons.

You do make me wonder how this Lexus going EV is going to effect Lexus expansion plans into developing nations like India. Lexus is selling PHEVs, diesels there with a small lineup. Would this mean these expansions would be wound down, leaving current consumers in the dark?

Lexus could have EV options for every single Lexus. That would work.

I purposely left it and the plastic and stickers so people can see a pretty new off the boat IS 500. I contemplated leaving the white protective plastic on lol… but Lexus wanted it off

Best Car claims current IS will run until 2025 when it will be replaced by the EV sedan, no more ICE carrying IS planned. Get the IS500 while you still can.

According to their sources, a full IS remodel was planned for 2022, but was cancelled in favor of the 2025 EV plan and a quick facelift. This means the IS EV was planned well before the recent reveal. I think this is consistent with their 2019 reporting that 4IS based on GA-N with the 2.4L turbo engine was being developed. At that time the program was probably already close to cancellation.
