Since you're asking for questions, I've got one or two for you: any chance of Lexus bringing back the Amythist (dark purple or purplish-gray) color anytime soon? I last saw it on the Second-Generation SC430, but that model was dropped, and I haven't seen it on any other Lexus model-lines yet (though I may have just missed it).

I also ask because, among some other vehicles, I may (?) consider an ES for my next purchase or lease, and I'd especially like to see it on the ES. The ES, IMO, could also use an AWD option.....considering that even less-expensive sedans like the Ford Fusion and Subaru Legacy offer it.

I too would love to see the Amethyst color back. There may still be hope as we saw Black Sapphire come back this year as Nightfall Mica.

As for AWD on the ES I don't see that coming. We offer AWD on every vehicle but the ES. The front wheel drive works much better in the snow than the rear wheel drives we grew up on.
