If Tesla drivers smash the pedal, of course driving range will be low. I doubt every 0-30 mph in 2 sec is a normal way of driving.

The New York Times points out that all EVs have a lower range in colder temperatures, but even in warm weather, a Tesla Model Y ran out of juice at least 50 miles below its claimed range in Consumer Reports' tests.

50 Miles is a staggering difference. There are quite a few complaints online so this isn’t surprising. Not sure why anyone has an issue with the government making sure what is advertised is truthful.

We do not know how they were driving. Shifting a 2UR at 7500 rpm will definitely not get the claimed mpg rating. When I happen to drive an electric car, whatever the power, I smash the pedal at every opportunity, range is terrible. Can’t blame the car.

Yes, many factors affect EV range, but if many, many people (i.e. a seeming majority) all complain about lower-than-advertised range, it suggests that the range figure may be exaggerated.
