Looks great, but still a Hyundai. Is this how boomers perceive Lexus? :D

Not a fan of the proportions.

Original concept was leagues better.. when they adapted it to the G90 platform for this new concept, IMO it looks fwd-esque despite still having a reasonable dash to axle.Screenshot_20250403_185149_Instagram.jpg

The new one just looks too middle-heavy and *almost* cab forward, at least in comparison with the beautiful swept back old concept. It's basically a 2-door sedan.

I disagree. I never liked the bubbly roof of the concept. It doesn't fit to long and wide, perceived thin belt line design. Flat roof amplifies long, wide and thin. Also more metal above rear wheel instead of glass always pins down that proper coupe weight to whole shape, some 90s old-school 101 stuff here like longer roof instead of hood.

Concept and prototype are two completely different designs with different purpose and different emotions to evoke. There is no right or wrong here at all, it's all personal preference. I also always prefer Belgium green to blue/purple metal green hues so that could be why I would always pick one on the bottom :)

When it comes to full-size sedan derivative coupes I have yet to see a design exercises that tops Mazda Vision Coupe

To me, the doors look a little short / small, leading the eye to expect a rear door. If they lengthened that door a bit, it will reduce that distance from the door to the rear axle and reduce the size of the rear window to "coupe size"; it would also have the benefit of helping ingress and egress from the rear seat, but the door would be huge.

The door as is does look massive. IMO if the cabin gets pushed back another 3-5 inches would be perfect.

For a proper looking GT the driver needs to sit behind the center of the car. The production-ready version looks like the Dodge Challenger, a 2-door sedan with full-size rear cabin. Even the FWD coupes like Accord, Altima and Camry Solara have more pushed back cabin than this.
