I'm sub'd to Doug's channel and he gets a lot of views regardless of car...I know a lot of folks on TCL hate him lol, and he has mentioned that his dad is a loyal Lexus owner (Like my folks, and we just added a 17 ESh to our family last week) :)

Since it's not actually his car, he misses that the LFA is indeed typically Lexus-level bulletproof by all accounts. And that's what makes it really special in that category - Lexus made a practical hypercar.

A worthwhile point for sure when you compare it to other sportscars in the realm, but the audience the video caters to are enthusiasts, not the general public reading CR that is shopping Camrys or ES/RXs. At least most of the audience knows that Yamaha tuned V10 is a sweet sounding engine.
