Dashboard ticking sounds

Hey Guys!

Need your help.

I started to hear ticking sounds somewhere inside my dashboard.

I went to the dealer, they said because it is cold in Canada now (not that much to be honest, -5 Celsius, 23 F) plastic inside the cabin can compress and do that type of sounds.

I even recorded the video. You can watch it here . Has anybody faced the same issue before?

What should I do in your opinion? Should I complain to Lexus Canada and ask for their involvement?

P.S. When the weather outside is warm, I do not hear anything, but I do not think it is appropriate for Lexus to do these sounds.

OK...not totally sure if this is the specific case with your car, but I notice that you're in bright sun on what appears to be a cold day. That can sometimes cause dash-creak/tick-noises by the sun's rays hitting the dashboard and expanding it in the warm air inside the car, while the anchor-points, windshield, and glass remain cold and contracted. That can set up varying clearances between the parts, and they rub or press. against each other.
