“Thank you very much for your continued support of Lexus International Gallery Aoyama. We regret to inform you that the gallery closed on Friday, February 28th, 2025. Since its opening in October 2008, a total of approximately 140,000 customers have visited the gallery. And this gallery has served as a place where visitors can experience the Lexus brand and has hosted many vehicle exhibits and events. We sincerely appreciate your visit to our gallery over the years. The gallery will be renovated with the aim of becoming a new facility where visitors can experience the Toyota brand in the future. We are planning to open in the winter of 2025, so please stay tuned for more information. The dealership located next to the gallery will remain open as usual after February 28th. However, we apologize for the inconvenience and noise caused by the partial restriction of the store and the construction during the period, and we ask for your understanding.”

It was such a cool place to visit and yes Lexus has once again been sidelined, forced to compromise for Toyota 😮‍💨.

I dont have any info but perhaps they want to use experience in birth of Lexus brand as a template for Century brand. Maybe, I don't know Im just guessing here as most of the people responsible for original LS are not even alive or with the company. After all Lexus was LS400 as they concentrated on one task and one market and they made sure they hit it right. Modern Century has concentrated on nothing but branding, typical limited fashion strategy. Sell common goods for a lot of money, like Balmain trying to sell you Express Tshirt for 250 and even if you want to buy it they are all sold-out (check their website if you don't believe me).
