Not happy about a six wheeled shipping container go-kart being the new LS?
Well don't worry, here's a 20 year old 6 cylinder and RAV4 platform for US$250k+

How much you guys want to bet that it's FWD based? 🤣

It's Crown based that's pretty obvious. Do they have poppy tea parties over there at T? They are abusing the vacuum created with failed BEV shift to fill the space that just popped up by spamming it with a one product dressed in few flavors. After COVID affordable stuff we consumed almost each day got a lot more expensive while expensive stuff really didn't follow the same curve so we ended up in a world where crap costs almost a cream in every sphere of our lives and this car really takes the crown in automotive world when it comes to that. Repackaged everyday Toyota as $100K+ Century. This one really takes the cake.

Toyota doesn't respect or appreciate it's customers.

Legacy nameplates aren't something to be revered, they are tools for tricking customers.

It is the most cold and short sighted treatment of customers I see from any car maker.

Toyota isn't boring, it's actually worse. Toyota is a mysanthropic and contemptuous company.

Ask yourself, does this sound like a company you know?

Contemptuous behavior is characterized by a deep-seated disdain or scorn toward others. People who are contemptuous often display a sense of superiority and disrespect for those they perceive as beneath them. Here are a few key aspects of contemptuous behavior:

1. **Disrespect and Disregard**: Contemptuous individuals show little to no respect for the feelings, opinions, or rights of others. They may dismiss others' contributions, ideas, or efforts without consideration.

2. **Superiority Complex**: They often believe they are inherently better, smarter, or more capable than others. This perceived superiority can lead to belittling or mocking others.

3. **Sarcasm and Ridicule**: Contemptuous people frequently use sarcasm, ridicule, and demeaning language to undermine or humiliate others. Their communication style can be cutting and hurtful.

4. **Lack of Empathy**: They struggle to empathize with others' experiences or emotions. This lack of empathy can make them appear callous and unfeeling.

5. **Manipulative Tactics**: Contemptuous individuals may use manipulation to achieve their goals, seeing others as mere tools to be used for their own benefit.

6. **Indifference to Social Norms**: They may disregard social norms, rules, or expectations, acting in ways that are socially unacceptable or harmful without concern for the consequences.

Contemptuous behavior can be damaging to relationships and social environments, as it erodes trust, respect, and collaboration. It creates a toxic atmosphere where individuals feel undervalued and disrespected.

Gotta love that analogue clock that neither driver nor passenger can tell what time it is. Very poorly executed concept for a brand that's supposed to be Emperor brand. Its beyond obvious this is a Bentley EXP 15 ripoff and with like any other ripoff designers only mimic the original but have no clue why things are done they way they are done in the original.

That outlet claiming it would use a V12 looking mighty silly now.
“We have not actually decided which kind of engine will be installed,” said Toyota powertrain president Takashi Uehara.

I'm not sure I buy that, but a V12 sure would be interesting. I assume it would also be used in the next Century Sedan. Now all they need is a large V12 SUV in their lineup.

Maybe a high-performance version for the next LFA?

I hope it also spawns an inline-6 to replace the V35A in their BOF products and also to put in the next gen Supra and Lexus SC.

I hope we see a new family of inline-6s as well, but if we did, I think it's more likely to be based on the new G20E 4-cylinder engine.

According to Mag-X it's gonna be a 6.0L V12. We could see a 3.0L inline-6.
I'm pretty skeptical of the mag-x V12 rumor, but it would be awesome if true. It might even open the door to a high-revving NA V12 LFA.

From a production perspective, an inline-6 would have more in common with a inline-4, at least on the bottom end. It could use the head off a V12 though.
