Best DIY Windshield Repair Kits or Professional Service?

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a small chip in my windshield and I’m debating whether to fix it myself or take it to a professional.

I’ve seen a few DIY repair kits online, but I’m not sure how effective they are.

Has anyone had success with these kits, or is it better to let an expert handle it?

Also, if I do go the professional route, what should I look for in a good repair service?

I’d love to hear your experiences and recommendations before I make a decision.

Get a pro. Doesnt cost that much but theyll have splurged on good equipment and materials.

Yup. I picked up a crack in my bZ4x windshield on Friday and the professional repair quote was under $100. Now that the crack has spread to over 6", the quote is $1700. Oof. Thankfully $0 deductible on the windshield coverage.
