Dare I say folks considering G classes at $100k over MSRP are jumping ship? Are people who are buying them at MSRP, putting them on the secondary market for more than what they paid?
It’s sold out for 2 years. Nationwide people are paying mark up. They are trying to get more here but supply issues makes it tough.
Even with improvements needed the car is a sales grand slam.

yes, they can not produce any more than that. You know, shortage of chips? Otherwise, waiting time would not be 2 years +.

For the 100th time, the LX is not a volume model here. They can’t make enough and the middle east gets the priority first. The production run is sold out. Supply and chips are a huge issue. It’s like saying the G Wagon is a failure because it doesn’t sell in large volumes.
I assume when the TX arrives which is for the USA, then it will be more of a large volume SUV.
We are all well aware people are paying anything for the SUV. The LX never had that happen before.
You only show US sales. LX is sold worldwide and comes from same factory as models sold in US. ME and Russia (or no more) are the priority for delivery.Despite it's legendary status, the LX has always been last rung from a sales perspective, so "the shortage of chips" defense holds little weight, especially considering that other luxury vehicle brands are also having the same chip issues, yet many of their full-size SUV sales are up over the previous year.

"Volume model" or not, when compared to the majority of current SUV's in class, the sales figures of the LX600 will continue to be dismal throughout it's lifecycle, even without the overhanging chip shortage.
In fact, I doubt that the 4th generation LX600 sales numbers will eclipse the previous 3rd generation LX570 yearly/overall sales figures.

101st time. I am not sure how else to explain the LX is a limited production model.
The LX are sold out
So no offense but this data doesn’t matter.
We know it’s not a best seller it’s not meant to be a best seller. It not an Escalade competitor head on. That vehlcle is much larger. That is what the rumored TX would be for. All the vehicles you mentioned are significantly larger.
The LX just happens to be Lexus largest vehicle so people just compare it. Meanwhile buyers don’t care. They love the LX for its merits and it’s nice to not see 500 of them everyday like an Escalade or QX60.
Mercedes-Benz makes a G wagon. Why don’t you list it’s sales too? Oh that’s right it’s not meant to sell in huge numbers.
All the vehicles you mentioned are significantly larger.
The LX600 is a "limited production" model because there are "limited" buyers.
Until Lexus ramps up production.
The "data" always "matters," even if it doesn't suit your particular frame of reference.
No one claimed that the LX600 should be a "best seller," especially in it's current guise, however the fact that the LX600 is dead last in full size luxury SUV segment sales & is being outsold by the Infiniti QX80 (another relic) certainly speaks volumes.
Fair, valid points.
You're late to the party, as I already listed the MB G Wagon sales numbers in my original reply.
Oh & FYI; The more expensive MB G Wagon is also outselling the LX600 currently as well 😁
Not entirely true, as the MB G Wagon is somewhat smaller than the LX600
For the 102nd time; the LX is sold out and only has an 8k a year run. Production is backed up. Dealers can’t get vehicles. You are comparing it to vehicles that were created for higher volume thus have higher sales. It’s like me saying the x5 and gle and mdx etc are failures because they sell half of the RX. No they have their targets and are meeting them. They are all successful.
Redundant babble doesn't change my assessment nor the sales data.
