Pretty amazing times for a LC with run flats! While they are high performance they still are not a true high performance tire. I'm sure with some real Super Sports times would only improve. Also pretty amazing with the 10 speed which shows this is a very very good transmission.

The LFA was never going to win any acceleration battles with the 6 speed, tires and V-10. Let us not forget that briefly it was the fastest car at the Ring which says all we need to know about the car. :)

Let us also not forget Lexus having a 600+hp LC F isn't just about winning at the track, its about winning at the country club and at the local hotspot. Lexus can finally have some bragging rights which you need to succeed in this class.

Obviously only Nissan would reply in Japan when the next generation GT-R debuts in a few years. Until then Lexus will have continued its pretty lone battle against the Germans.

The E63 AMG S is only 0.3s slower than the LFA on this track, and this car will be very close to the LC-F in terms of PWR. The vanilla LFA is quite slow for its PWR because its "road-going" tyres really don't have the grip to handle such a potent chassis. The track edition is still the fastest car on Green Hell without using semi-slicks. Lexus opted against using them for durability, which made no sense because the LFA is not meant to be driven more than 10k miles a year. And the owners absolutely don't care about the puny amount of money saved from "durable road tyres". The LC-F can beat the LFA as long as Lexus don't make that questionable decision again.

Same for most of the F sport models. Who decided to put the IS on Turanzas instead of Potenzas? The IS is already struggling with weight and lack of power, might as well give it some real tires to quell that understeer.
