Fully support you, sir. It's very refreshing to see differing opinions shared without an outbreak of hostilities! In Ireland it's very much 'spot the Lexus' so it's great to be able to see what has happened, what is happening and what may yet happen in the much wider world of Lexus.

Live in Ireland. Own two Lexus, a 2004 plate IS200 with 142,000 and a 2013 plate GS250 which is on 32,000. Wouldn't consider for one moment owning anything else, the customer service is outstanding. A Lexus is more than a car, it's an experience. The age of car makes no difference.

It's gorgeous. Go for it, Lexus, build it. It's what Lexus is about. For me, Lexus needs to be more niche, not less.

Do any of us actually go buying a Lexus because it's practical?

F-Sport could become such a powerful sub-brand. TRD belongs to Toyota. F-Sport to Lexus. From my experience, I would say there is a very strong business case to be made. It would reach out to those who have dismissed Lexus as 'not for me' without alienating the existing very valuable customer base.

Just remember guys, some of us in Europe (UK) bought into Lexus because it isn't market dominant. I've got 2, a 2004 IS200 which is an absolute peach and is going nowhere unless I can't afford to keep it. It was a brilliant introduction to the brand 7 years ago. My second one is a GS250 F Sport...

Wow, wow, wow. I doubt I'll ever see one over here in Ireland, let alone own one - but it makes me keener than ever to make my 2013 GS250 F Sport a keeper! In Pearlescent White with 19" wheels, it's a beauty.
