By luck I had a new RX 500h press car and a brand new RX 350 fwd loaner from Hennessy Gwinnett. 22 minutes of me comparing the two.
Cliffs, the 500h is absolutely worth the money over the 350 fwd unless you really just want a basic sensible Lexus.
I wish the LFA was coming with the V-8. Then more I look at it the more i’m falling for it. The GR looks more brutal and very SLS with the loooong hood.

Wow that’s wild. Lexus was pretty odd with the GS. The 1st gen was large for its class about 195” long. The shrunk it to 189” for the second gen which continued 3/4th. GS F is longer due to front overhang, While the 4th gen was nimble it was a few inches shorter than the competitors which grew.
I guess technically bamboo isn’t wood so it must be some plastic layer under it. I’m not sure what to think tho. Seemed fine when I saw it, MUCH better than the plastic in the 14-25 models
@Gecko an absolutely wonderful read. I don’t think I disagree with anything, I also feel strongly the IS 500 is the spiritual successor to the beloved GS 400.

What’s surprising is the TX is USA only but the chief engineer is from Japan. I would have thought someone here would have led it.
