I think this is expected to make it to production, unfortunately as an EV though. I agree with your overall sentiment though. It looks good, but it's one of those concepts that'll never see production. It's actually sticking to the pattern established by Lexus in the past couple years. They introduce concepts just to create the illusion that they're working hard behind the scenes. I actually think that they have no idea why their sales are so good.
Toyota came out with the C-HR's successor like almost 2 years ago while Lexus managed to put out a lukewarm facelift for the UX which shares the platform.
The new Camry seems to be a better car/proposal -in almost every aspect- than the new ES.
Toyota is basically shitting out new models while Lexus is doing....concepts I guess?
Before last year’s renovation, this space was dedicated exclusively to Lexus models, and it even displayed a Nürburgring Edition LFA at one point. After the renovation, however, it is no longer a purely Lexus showroom. Going forward, the space will feature more and more Century and GR related products. This transformation closely mirrors what we see at the International Gallery in Aoyama.I think this is expected to make it to production, unfortunately as an EV though. This Lexus space is beautiful, I wish they made their cars feel more like this (not literally, but in terms of the overall feeling of luxury)

I mean at the end of the day I think both GR and Century are positioned as premium brands and you cant just go all out initially and give both of them their own showrooms. From what I read the Corolla and Yaris are 1-and-done. In future GR is moving a bit more upmarket, so personally I don't hate it.Before last year’s renovation, this space was dedicated exclusively to Lexus models, and it even displayed a Nürburgring Edition LFA at one point. “De-Lexusfied” is going full throttle now.
