The new GX is an immense success. Despite still having a few flaws it is by far the most well rounded BOF SUV on the market and a worthy successor to the J200. This is proof Lexus can have a successful high-end product if they put enough effort and make it competitive.

Current sales are heavily driven by the success of their hybrid models. I’m certain that going fully electric would slash those numbers in half. Would Lexus really be reckless enough to let their best sellers like the RX and NX take that kind of hit? Or do they actually think they can afford that kind of blow?
