Lexus LFA Driver Development Program Video

Have to admit, it feels a little surreal linking to this Lexus-produced video of me attending the LFA Driver Development program — feels like I’ve broken the fourth wall:

What a day this was — the first comment on the Youtube video page pretty much sums up how I feel. Have to thank everyone that made it possible, it was an experience I’ll never forget.

Lexus released a second video from Infineon that shows Scott Pruett trying out the Launch Control:

This was filmed by Kevin Lee from Nexus Visuals, a super-nice guy who did an excellent job with this video — too bad we didn’t see any speedometer footage!

what a lucky guy you are....on the other hand - people like you deserve something like this. Spending so much hours of work into your website - for us readers(!) - is something i have great respect for it....keep up the good work

Cool vids. It must have been a blast! What was your fastest lap? Top speed?

    I believe I hit 119 MPH during our drag race session -- though in the video I say 116 so who knows. :-) There was no official lap timing, but all attendees were promised video of their laps. I'll be sure to post them up.

Krew: I have heard LFA participants of the driver development program have been receiving their DVDs of the program. Have you received your copy yet?? Looking forward to seeing the video. Thanks.

    To follow up on this, turns out that due to the Lexus video feature I was in, all my in-car video footage was lost. :-( Depressing, for sure, but I don't think I can be all that sad. ;-)
