Details on the Next-Generation Lexus ES Manufacturing

Lexus Magazine has some behind-the-scenes details on how the next-generation ES will be manufactured at the Miyata plant in Japan.

(One example: there’s an artificial road simulator for testing every vehicle’s quietness and vibration levels right on the production line.)

It's too bad that every 5th generation ES has this uneven trim on the right side. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=233089106750910 It's a lot more conspicuous in person. Also, the same ES has tremendous initial quality, but in terms of long-term dependability, it falls extremely short of Lexus of yore.
