Lexus Trademarks “LBX” In the US

Since its introduction, most know the UX as Lexus’ smallest crossover… unless you live in a market that is lucky enough to receive the LBX. Only Europe, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, and select global markets have received the LBX so far which is a shame because it has received universally positive praise for Lexus levels of quality and refinement in a very compact package.

If a recent trademark is any indication, the LBX might be looking for another stamp in its passport. Lexus trademarked “LBX” in the United States and while trademarks don’t always mean a model’s introduction is guaranteed, it is a first step in the right direction.

The LBX is significantly smaller than the UX and based on the Toyota Yaris architecture. Toyota discontinued the Yaris in America due to slow sales and most considered its compact size a bit too compact for North American buyers. Would the LBX be something different and succeed where the Yaris did not?

For now we’ll have to wait and see if Lexus does decide the LBX should come stateside. If the answer is yes, we certainly hope the hot hatch LBX RR Morizo also is in the cards.

Thought about adding "it has" as well, but wanted to keep it as easy as possible to remember
Your sentence doesn’t have a clear subject, so it feels incomplete.
"But wanted" is a fragment—it needs a subject like "I" to work.
The quotation marks around "it has" could be improved for consistency.

I am king of pedants, look upon my works and tremble.
