Lexus LX Gets Minor Updates for 2023 Model Year

The 2023 Lexus LX 600 has been announced, with the flagship SUV remaining mostly unchanged in its second production year. The updates are of a minor variety: a heated steering wheel now comes standard, the rear seat entertainment get screen covers, and Nori Green is now available with the F SPORT package.

The bigger story is what’s missing, namely the twin-turbo V6 hybrid introduced with the 2023 Toyota Sequoia. The LX and the Toyota SUV share the same platform, and the hybrid powertrain should have been first priority for the Lexus flagship — fingers crossed for next year!

Curious: if a 750h powertrain is introduced in MY24, do you think the 3rd row seating still folds flat? By Lexus' past statements, an electrified option has to be available by 2025.
