Overall good improvement -however the dashboard really needs an upgrade. Too much plastic in sight would like them to look at an Audi interior and get some pointers on luxury finishes and detailing it lacks European appeal in the inside finishes.
The exterior colors also seem hectic - think they are trying too hard and becoming blingish in the process.
However I am a Lexus fan and hope it does well.

looks amazing but new gen should come out in 2021 at least
You think that soon? The 4IS is prob due on 2021. The 3is has a few years on the RC so I doubt Lexus will change it by then. Maybe 2023?

Never understood this argument, there is no shortage of plastic in the A4. And what exactly is Europeal appeal and why does Lexus need to copy it?

Lexus has got to step it up with powertrains they are seriously lagging here.
In Europe, the RC could benefit from a 345 hp 450h powertrain, as the GS is gone now and replaced with ES 300h... Too bad that they don't want to put the necessary Euro6d engineering resources in such a specific version that would allow to build brand awareness as a more affordable LC (and not necessarily sales volume).
Separate thread on this soon...

I really want to like it! The rear lights look good but the headlights I really don’t like. Maybe it will grow on me and others or hopefully the 2nd gen RC will be out sooner then that! I think if it had a more IS type of refresh would have looked really nice as I love the much more aggressive look anyway I still have high hopes for the RC!
Exterior really looks awesome in that video!
I know it's still on sale, but can't believe the standard RC coupe looked like this before the refresh:

No offense to anyone that bought this car :kissing_heart:
It's non-LED headlights that make it weird looking.
That grill is and always has been, quite frankly, bizarre. But yeah, I think the new one is really nice with subtle updates.

It's like for a brief moment, the designers thought the RC was an ES redesign and just went with it. Very out of place, never understood the rationale.

I do think the existence of the LC improved this redesign by giving the designers a hard endpoint of what a Lexus coupe should look like. Before that I don't think they quite knew.

Good to Go !!!
Sorry guys. I've been ridiculously busy and am way behind on some updates. I got to see the first 2019 RC F-Sport here as part of the #LexusXCC project... here it is below in Atlanta after installing the Vossen HF-2 Wheels, RS-R springs and Nitto Tires. The wrap and sound system was installed in Miami a couple of days before.

I usually don't like refreshes but IMO, they completely nailed the RC. It looks much tidier. I have a video I will upload tonight.

Love it
As an LC owner I always thought that, unlike the LC, the proportions of the RC (width-to-height ratio) were a little bit off for a sport coupe. It appears from the pictures that they were somehow able to trick the lines to improve on that, if only as a perceived impression. I'm curious to see if the actual dimensions have changed at all. The Infrared really suits the car very well (OK I'm biased) but unlike the LC, I think that almost every color look really good on it.
I sat in a 2019 F Sport recently and really liked the new interior trim. Definitely don't like what they did to the air vents though. The clock is a nice refresh but I prefer the white face. The headlights look better in person than in pics, but the new taillights look more Toyota-ish now. Still not sure what I'm going to do when my lease ends later this year.
