Lexus Tops Consumer Reports Reliability Survey for Fourth Consecutive Year

For the fourth year in a row, Lexus has been named the top brand in the annual Consumer Reports Reliability Survey. All nine vehicle lines offered by the brand have received top reliability marks. The survey is considered one of the top reliability guides offered in North America, with the results compiled from data of more than 740,000 vehicles.

Beyond the overall brand rankings, the Lexus CT 200h tied with the Toyota Prius as the most reliable new car available in North America — both scored 94 out of a possible 100 points.

(As a point of comparison, Audi was 4th overall, BMW came in at 9th, and Mercedes finished at 17th.)
