Lexus has trademarked both the RX 350L and RX 450hL nameplates in the USA. This follows last week’s filing of the RX 350L nameplate in Europe.
This second trademark application lends credence to the idea that Lexus plans to extend the existing RX crossover to fit a third row, rather than introduce an all-new model.
The RX 350L is filed under trademark #86938786 and the RX 450hL under trademark #86938685 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
