Lexus & F Performance Racing Announce Entry into IMSA GTD Championship

Lexus USA and the F Performance Racing group have officially announced their entry into the IMSA Weather Tech SportsCar Championship. The team will be racing an RC F GT3 in the GT Daytona (GTD) class through the 2018 season.

Also announced is a second team driver — 20-year-old Sage Karam will join Scott Pruett as drivers for F Performance racing starting this year. Karam and Pruett were teammates on the Chip Ganassi Ford Racing team last year.

F Performance Racing will compete in select races this season as Lexus prepares the RC F GT3 for FIA homologation, and will return with a multi-car effort for 2017.
