Lexus November 2015 Sales Report

USA

Lexus USA has reported 29,340 total sales for November 2015, a 16.1% improvement over last year — here’s the model-by-model breakdown:

Total Sales 29,340 27,472 16.1 303,221 271,510 12.1

Please note, all percentages are calculated by the Daily Sales Rate (DSR), which takes into account the number of days in the month that dealerships could sell cars. November 2015 had 23 selling days, November 2014 had 25 selling days.

This was the best November sales result in the history of Lexus USA, and the second month in a row of record sales.

Leading the charge once again is the RX, where a combination of clearing out old inventory and the arrival of the new model has boosted sales up 22.1%. The LX also saw a nice percentage increase with the updated 2016 model, and the NX continues to roll along strongly (though I doubt it will be able to keep up a 16,125.3% increase year-over-year).

If anything, it’s the car lineup that’s struggling — only the GS and RC posted positive results, with all other models showing a double-digit decrease. The new GS 200t, IS 200t, and RC 200t should boost numbers in the coming months, but it’s doubtful this downward trend will be reversed in the near future.

(Both Canadian and competitor sales will be added when the information is released.)

The new IS is just not nice looking as the old following it from behind. The GS is the only model that keeps getting lovelier as days goes. There is nothing wrong with the interior of the IS. It needs refreshing on the exterior.  Lexus please cut that spindle grill into half now we have had enough
