While on the topic of the 2016 Lexus LX, the updated SUV has been named the “Full-Size Luxury Sport Utility Vehicle of Texas” by the Texas Auto Writers Association.
The impressive-sounding title was awarded at the annual Texas Truck Rodeo in San Antonio, where 69 journalists test-drove and evaluated 88 vehicles across a variety of vehicle categories.
Earlier this year, the auto writers association also named the 2015 Lexus NX 200t F SPORT the “Activity Vehicle of Texas” and the 2015 Lexus NX 300h the “Green Vehicle of Texas” — all very good news considering Lexus USA will be moving its national headquarters to the state in 2017.
