So mines would come out to 79,625 + taxes and gov't fees. Depending on which county i buy mines it should roughly be around 88,700ish out the door.

Well, not totally like the Germans. Just got a response that Lexus will not offer custom colors like Audi does on their RS cars....also they will not offer a Japan delivery program.

Never really liked the styling. At all. And it had a rather pedestrian review on Motor Trend today. It is overweight, and not up to class standards in performance. But it should add 10-15k a year to the sales tally, and 3-4k at the end of this year, so we'll see what that means in early January to the sales race..... BD

I agree with the weight issue. If MotorTrend's numbers (4.5 secs 0-60, while the Germans do it in sub-4, no carbon-ceramic brakes, 0.95g skidpad while the M4 and RS5 pull 0.99) are correct, this is seriously lagging behind the current crop out of Germany. And keep in mind that soon there will be a new generation AMG C-Class. The RC F already struggling to keep with the current gen. I understand that Lexus focused on making it fun to drive, but in the end this segment is ruled by bragging rights. And you only get bragging rights with the right performance numbers. Either Lexus will need a more powerful, more extreme version down the line or will need to find ways to cut some of the weight.

Good start for Lexus to offer some options to their customers ... I totally support you Lexus

This is a $70K+ car for almost everyone.......with an IS interior and extra for leather and GPS. I guess they figure people will pay anything for a V8. I will keep the LS, which is almost as quick, holds five comfortably...... more features for about the same money.

Well you could say that about a lot of cars in this market. At least you get a V-8 with the RCF instead of some turbo V-6. Do have to say keeping the LS can't be a bad decision at all...beautiful car :-)

LS is nowhere near as quick as the RC-F. Not even close. Around the track, it is not even a comparison. LS is an all-out luxury car while RC-F is a performance car with luxury and practicality. Big difference

Ron even in a straight line the RC-F is going to kill an LS, there is no comparison. I am betting initial numbers for the RC-F are conservative just like Lexus does with their whole line up.

Hi every one, i'm a lexus enthusiast. I come from Vietnam , the country which have been independent for over 30 years. In recent years, Vietnamese people are much richer and wealthier, so Lexus vehicles are more popular in Vietnam. In Vietnam, the LX, GX,and RX are selling very well. Every day, when i'm on my way to school, I can see at least 10 LXs, dozen of GXs and RX is uncountable. Lexus is the leader of the luxury SUVs in Vietnam, but it's really hard to find a Lexus sedan in Hanoi, because this belongs to Benz and BMW. I'm only 14 years old, and next year i'm going to Germany for study. I always wanna be a Lexus designer. I think, this RC F is one of the most attractive car and it looks stunning and gorgeous. I think the grill is very controversial, many body love it, but many body hate it. But the fact is Lexus sales increase , and with this awesome coupe, i can't wait to see the day Lexus become back the leader of luxury cars. But Lexus shouldn't have discontinued LF-A. 1 billion dollars just for 500 volumes, that was a waste. LF- A is one of the greatest car that human ever made, hope RC will be like its predecessor. Sorry for my English!

I think your English is very good. I wish had mastered a second language. Glad you are a Lexus enthusiast too; and I hope you realize your hopes and dreams! Would that I had been as poised and knowledgeable as you are when I was 14. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Thanks. My dad is a lawyer, and he owns a Camry. In Vietnam, cars are expensive, so a Camry costs $54k! He always wants to drive a RX to his office everyday, but it's too expensive for him to afford. A RX costs approximately $150k in Vietnam! That's why i aspire to be a Lexus designer, so i can buy him a Lexus.

a lawyer in Vietnam can afford a Camry? he works for the gov't? if so, I'm sure he can afford more than a Camry.

I'm really happy, I will be the first person they call when the car arrives at Lexus of North Miami. Richard Todorow is the best salesman.

Oh yeah, I will be the second they call in Oregon. :P I still want to learn more about the car before I buy though. I might wait a bit and maybe by January there might be some screaming deals, but then again maybe not...

I think I'm the only Lexus salesman who wants to buy one of these so bad I can taste it. To the guy who's comparing numbers with the Germans. We could care less. We'll be out having fun enjoying the car while they will be in the shop getting something fixed. Numbers mean little when you're afraid to really use the horses for fear it will cause a repair.
