Lexus Ranks Fifth in 2013 J.D. Power APEAL Study


Lexus has ranked fifth overall in the 2013 J.D. Power Automotive Performance,
Execution and Layout(APEAL) study
, which serves as the industry benchmark for new-vehicle appeal.

The 2013 APEAL Study ranks the satisfaction of 83,000 new vehicle owners, using a spectrum of 77 vehicle attributes — Lexus finished just 37 points behind industry leader Porsche.

JD Power APEAL 2013 Survey

As far as individual model awards, the 2013 Lexus LS took top spot in the Large Premium Car segment, winning out over the Audi A8 & Hyundai Genesis.

Lexus has always struggled in this survey, but matching Mercedes overall, and the LS winning it's class show Lexus is making the right moves! BD
